La torrencialidad de la lluvia es un indicador de riesgo climático obtenido como cociente entre la precipitación media anual (periodo 1961-1980) y la precipitación máxima en 24 horas para un periodo de retorno de 100 años.

Cociente entre la precipitación media anual (periodo 1961-1980) y la precipitación máxima en 24 horas para un periodo de retorno de 100 años.
Conversión del resultado a números enteros y clasificación de los mismos.
Normalización de la información por la Consejería de Medio Ambiente. Superado el control de calidad de estructura, la información es normalizada por un técnico del Servicio contratante y remitida al Servicio de Información y Evaluación Ambiental para su integración en los sistemas de almacenamiento de la REDIAM.
